"Three Dimensional Life is an adventure based recovery model designed to help those bound in destructive behaviors discover God's path to a healthy body, soul, and spirit"
Why 3D?
So much of our culture is focused on meeting physical and emotional desires. In this selfish pursuit people get hurt. Painful events lead young men to seek relief through destructive behaviors. Approaching these issues without God leads to unhealthy bodies, corrupted souls, and empty spirits. Three dimensional life offers a Christ centered solution to the whole person.
What is 3D?
3D is a voluntary 9 month residential program for young men ages thirteen to nineteen struggling with destructive behaviors. We combine long term Christ centered treatment with outdoor adventure. We are a privately owned 501-c(3) non-profit organization. Our unique home environment consists of a 4500 square foot log cabin on a 55 acre tree farm. Our facility provides a perfect atmosphere to minister to the body, soul, and spirit.
How does 3D work?
3D involves the many facets of recovery by offering the following components: our exclusive "Equipped Curriculum", spiritual development through devotions and group prayer times, continued high school education, CBAs (Character Building Adventures), family recovery classes, work ethics training, diet and exercise. We believe these aspects are essential for a young man to find the wholeness of a healthy body, soul, and spirit. Each one of these are lived out in each student's daily schedule.
Equipped Curriculum
Our curriculum is made up of several different aspects that are designed to teach a three dimensional lifestyle.
Phase 1: ‘Welcome Home’- First 30 days of the program. The focus of this phase is to develop a sense of ownership and security in a new environment with new relationships.
Phase 2: ‘The View’- Months 2 and 3 in the program. This phase allows the student to take a panoramic view of the effect that his decisions and circumstances have on his past, present, and future.
Phase 3: ‘Equipped’- Months 4, 5, and 6. After gaining this new perspective, it is now necessary to equip each student with the knowledge of who he is in Christ and the essential tools for his success. At this phase of his program there is increased visitation time in family recovery, deeper meaning to character building adventures, and higher expectation of leadership in the work program.
Phase 4: ‘The Journey’- Months 7, 8, and 9. Having been equipped for success, it is now time to plan for the future. In this phase each student will not only map out a strategy for living life in 3D, they will implement their plans in real life scenarios as close to life after program as possible. This process allows a young man to begin practicing success while still in an environment of structure and accountability.
